Biography
She is a Professor& Director for Amity Institute of Environmental Toxicology, Safety and Management. She received a Doctoral Degree (PhD) from Delhi University, India. She is graduated with an immediate post-graduation from Delhi University, India. She served as a Professor since 21 years in Amity Institute of Environmental Toxicology, Safety and Management. As a Professor, she is a recipient of many awards and grants for her valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of research. Her research interests, as a Professor lie in Environmental Contaminants.
Research Interest
Studies on environmental contaminants (e.g. PAH’s, PCB’s, pesticides, Heavy metals, dioxins/dibenzofurans etc.) and their impact on eco-system (soil, water, air, flora and fauna), bio-remediation, site reclamation, environmental monitoring and data collection Field studies - Efficacy Trials, Field Dissipation (Soil and Water), 14C-Field Plot Studies, waste water treatment, solid waste management, E- waste management technologies.
