Biography
Dr. Sayed M. Hassan has completed his PhD at the age of 31 years from University of Cairo, Egypt and postdoctoral studies in instrumental analysis from Strathclyde and Bradford Universities, United Kingdom. Dr. Hassan was a Professor and Head of Analytical Chemistry Department at University of Mansura, Egypt. In 1988 he was Principal Research Chemist under contract for the US EPA in method development. Currently, Dr. Hassan is a Senior Research Scientist at the Center for Applied Isotope Studies and director of the Lab for Environmental Analysis, University of Georgia, Athens, GA. He has published more than 80 papers in reputed academic and professional journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of two journals; Austin Environmental Sciences & Journal of Medical Oncology and Therapeutics.
